Injustice 2 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16. Download and play as Jason Todd AKA Red Hood - an infamous sniper gunslinger with deadly accuracy who uses both long range projectiles and mid-close range setup attacks. The original Injustice: Gods Among Us featured six DLC fighters - Batgirl, Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Scorpion, Zatanna and Zod - as part of its character season pass. While they’re not clearly outed in the Injustice 2 DLC trailer above, tweaking the video’s final frame a bit reveals what appear to be Aquaman’s longtime nemesis Black Manta and Mortal Kombat’s Raiden.

The Red Hood is an alias used by multiple fictional characters and a criminal organization in comic books published by DC Comics. Six more DLC fighters are planned - and included as part of the game’s $99.99 Ultimate Edition - and it looks like we already know a couple of those characters. Sub-Zero, Red Hood and Starfire will be included in the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition, which costs $79.99. Those three characters will be included in the Fighter Pack 1 downloadable content for Injustice 2.

Strangely, he’s not automatically being downloaded for most. Jason Todd was Batmans second Robin after Dick Grayson moved onto being Nightwing. Those who’ve purchased the game’s Deluxe Edition or the Fighter Pack 1 DLC now have access to the Red Hood. The first batch of downloadable fighters coming to DC fighting game Injustice 2 are Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero, Batman’s second protégé, Red Hood, and Starfire, the exiled princess from the planet Tamaran. Red Hood is now available within Injustice 2, but many gamers aren’t finding the character in their rosters.
